“I am thrilled to be serving my hometown of Bastrop as the new principal at Mina Elementary. Mina is already a place where strong connections are made between the home and school and where educators are committed to developing the whole child. I value both of these and I am excited to help continue moving Mina along the path of excellence. True leadership is understanding the heart of the school and working collaboratively to meet the diverse needs of every child. With a committed staff, an involved community and parental involvement we will achieve great things.” Reba King
